Process of Making Athangudi Tiles
A Mould is placed over the glass, and certain design Stencils are placed into it.
Colour oxides which are liquefied under several proportions are poured over the certain regions in Stencils.
Stencils are removed and dry cement mixture is spreaded over the entire region.
Later wet cement is placed over it.
It is then leveled and furnished.
The mould is then removed.
It is then kept untouched for 12 hours in order to set the cement.
The settled tile is then made sunk into water and left for a day.
